Fair use rationale for use in the article Michael Uzick

Even though the media Michael Uzick.png is copyrighted and not released under a free license, I, Yazd, feel it is covered by fair use for at least one of the following reasons:

  • No free alternative exists.
  • The image is of significantly lower resolution than the original (copies made from it will be of inferior quality).
    • This image is a portrait of Uzick that appears on a University of Arizona School of Nursing community outreach webpage. The image is intended to be used for comment and criticism.
  • The placement in a RationalWiki article is being used for informational purposes only, and its use is not believed to detract from the original copyrighted media in any way.
  • A free alternative may not exist now, but in the event of a free alternative being located for the article "Michael Uzick" in the future, this file should be deleted as soon as possible.
