Salvation

Salvation is the Christian concept that people, due to their inherently sinful nature, need the salvation that only Jesus can give. Otherwise, they would be too wicked to enter into Heaven.
Many explanations have been put forward as to why people need salvation, when God could just allow people into Heaven anyway for trying to be good against their natures. Some of these arguments claim that God and Heaven cannot abide wickedness and sin, as directly contrary to their natures as perfect. This, however, would seem to limit God's omnipotence.

- Admit your problem (you are a sinner)
- Admit to God and to yourself the severity of your problem (you are cut off from God and Heaven because of sin)
- REPENT! - make a decision that you are willing to turn from your sinful ways and follow Jesus
- Pray to God in your own words:
- "God, I am a terrible sinner. My heart is black. I have ignored Your Gospel far too long. I am filthy. Everything I ever did stinks. I am wicked. WICKED! Without You I cannot go on. I am humbly sorry, and I truly repent. I accept Jesus Christ as my personal savior, and ask that His precious blood wash away my sins. In Jesus' name, Amen.
[edit] Did you really pray that and mean it? If so, this is just the start of a WONDERFUL new life with Christ!
- Find a Church where the Bible is preached as the sole authority, and salvation through Christ alone is preached
- Be baptized
- Read your Bible daily (God talks to you)
- Pray daily (you talk to God)
- Fellowship with other Christians (you talk to each other)
- Have more Christian babies (you and your Christian wife make love to each other) so we won't let the Muslim hordes outbreed us.
- Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, and yoke not up with unbelievers (turn off your computer, get off the Internet, blow up your TV, throw away your paper...)
- Witness to others about Christ. Leave a trail of tracts everywhere you go. Hit strangers over the head with the Bible.
