I notice that User:Totnesmartin created a red link for this article at United States... does that imply something will be written here soon? human clues 12:06, 1 November 2007 (EDT)
- for once, yes. Wikipedia does have a few unfilled redlinks that i just never got round to filling. You guys got lucky though... Totnesmartin 12:15, 1 November 2007 (EDT)
Jesusland reminds me of the new borders I drew for the US back in college (separating the US from the new CSA). The borders were pretty much the Potomac, Ohio, Missouri, and Colorado rivers, with a few drawn in lines connecting them (a small stretch of the Mississippi between the Missouri and Ohio, and perhaps the Continental Divide filling most of the gap between the Colorado and Missouri). I still stand by it. DickTurpis 14:14, 1 November 2007 (EDT)
- Is Canada 'totally blue?
BTW: In the UK Blue is the colour of the Conservative (slightly left wing) party and red of the Labour (also slightly left wing) party. SusanYou don't have to talk, but ... 17:09, 1 November 2007 (EDT)- I'm sure Canada has their own spectrum, but compared to Jesusland they are rampant socialists. I mean, come on, they have our socialized medicine thing and all. Oh, the colors aren't "of the parties" - they were picked by tv news people. Ironic, really, that the party on the right got the color associated with commyism. human hilarious link to my talk page goes here 17:24, 1 November 2007 (EDT)
- Alberta, Canada's most right-wing state, is included in Jesusland on some maps. And it's got oil. Totnesmartin 08:30, 2 November 2007 (EDT)

[edit] Jesusland flat?
It's got the Rockies for chrissakes. DickTurpis 11:09, 2 November 2007 (EDT)
- Hehe, yeah, and the Appalachians. And Ozarks. And, I think, the Cascades. I guess we need to try to make the snarky parts of the article better... human cabal 11:31, 2 November 2007 (EDT)
[edit] Alberta
Alberta should be a part of Jesusland. It has plenty of fundies and oil barons. BassoonsAreSexy 20:05, 26 December 2007 (EST)
[edit] Great big Texas?
Is it just me or is the shape of Jesusland (minus Alaska) vaguely similar to the shape of Texas, but enlarged & stretched out? It's like Texas just kept growing til it swallowed half the country. weaseLOId
