Thief

A thief is someone who takes money or goods from others illegally and/or without their permission, or through misrepresentation.
Thieves include many types of people:

- Footpads
- Freebooters
- Highwaymen
- Most televangelists
- Phishing emailers
- Pickpockets
- Pirates. Arrr!
- Priests
- Robbers
- Rogues
- Scientology and many other religious cults
- Some politicians
- Some computer hackers
- Squirrels in your bird feeder
- Snake oil salespeople

- Thief is a freakin' awesome computer game series.
- Thief was also a freakin' awesome arcade video game from circa 1981. [1] Like Pac-Man but had a masked bandit gobbling dollar bills and real police radio banter for the sound effects. Many quarters were plopped into that game. Aah, the 80s! I miss 'em. I really do.
