:Actually, the quote (which puts you in a good light here, getting chided by ashfly) is getting irrelevant on this article, since she got sysopship a while bakc now, right?  if you want, move this whole segment (with our comments) to the talk page and put it under "deleted from article due to being stale". Hey, I agree about the derisive comment - but it could have been removed by the normal wiki-process - bring it up on the talk page, clearly quoting what you are discussing, etc. <font color="#DD00DD" face="comic sans ms">human</font><font color="#00AA00">be in</font> 00:54, 15 June 2007 (CDT)

*You are a fucking liar, (sub)Human.  I have never been afforded the normal editing courtesies here.  Not ever.  You have been part of those who revert and delete everything I do, including allowing personal information to remain for weeks. All this was, was yet another cheap shot at me allowed to remain, unquestioned by any of you high-minded, "fair" people you claim to be.  When I am supporting the things you do, I am given derision, when I am not, the same. But hey, this is all in fun, and I am stopping and smelling the roses, and playing like you guys do, right? :D  --TK/MyTalk 01:17, 15 June 2007 (CDT)

Fun

Being a sysop at Conservapedia is not a task one should undertake lightly. Sysops on CP serve as a kind of henchmen or goon squad run by Andrew Schlafly. As anyone who's watched more than three Bond films knows, henchmen rarely end the film unscathed. If someone attacks your boss, your job is to take the bullet. If a big boulder is rolling down a hill at the boss, shove him out of the way.

And what do you get for this selflessness? Surely if someone is to give so completely of themselves, the reward must justify their action, no?

In the Bond films, the villain usually just tests a big laser on you, or maybe feeds a hungry croc he keeps under the trapdoor in front of his throne.

At Conservapedia it is the same thing: you are sent, say, to Wikipedia to harass and intimidate people who've left the group. While not the same as a big laser, the result might be just as bad.

How to be a CP Sysop

Just how do you become a sysop at CP? Like BethanyS it's by making a lot of edits, being well groomed and educating Andy Schlafly, that's how. But lets have a look in detail at those edits. I have taken some recent figures (16:04, 5 June 2007 EST) and broken down her contributions since 8 December 2006. This her complete edit history!

Dec 8 : 31 edits (6 articles, 1 term, 24 user/talk/images)
Jan 26: 19 edits (4 articles + 2 minor corrections to own edits, 13 user/talk/images)
Mar 9 : 4 edits (1 article, 3 terms)
Mar 16: 1 edit (1 user talk)
Mar 30: 14 edits (3 articles + 1 minor correction, 3 terms, 7 user/talk/images)
May 12: 2 edits (2 user talk)
May 14: 3 edits (3 user talk)
May 16: 8 edits (1 articles + 1 minor correction, 2 terms, 4 user/talk/images)
May 18: 3 edits (3 user talk)
May 19: 3 edits (3 user talk)
May 22 - BethanyS nominates herself for sysop
May 22: 14 edits (2 articles, 5 terms, 4 user/talk/images, 3 sysop contest)
May 23: 52 edits (9 articles + 2 minor corrections, 38 terms, 3 user/talk)
May 24: 21 edits (3 articles + 1 minor correction, 13 terms, 3 user/talk/image, 1 sysop contest)
May 25: 8 edits (3 articles + 1 minor correction, 3 terms, 1 user/talk/image)
May 26: 4 edits (2 articles, 2 terms)
May 28: 8 edits (2 articles + 1 minor correction, 3 terms, 2 debate)
May 29: 5 edits (3 articles, 1 user/talk/image, 1 sysop contest)
May 30: 4 edits (1 articles + 1 minor correction, 1 user/talk/image, 1 sysop contest)
May 31: 12 edits (1 articles + 1 minor correction, 4 terms, 5 user/talk/image, 1 sysop contest)
Jun 2: 19 edits (8 articles + 4 minor correction, 2 terms, 2 user/talk/image, 3 sysop contest)
Jun 3: 20 edits (4 articles, 7 terms, 6 user/talk/image, 2 sysop contest, 1 redirect)
Jun 4: BethanyS is a sysop!
Jun 4: 26 edits (2 articles + 1 minor correction, 1 term, 14 user/talk/image, 8 sysops contest)
Jun 5: 13 edits (2 articles, 11 user/talk/image)

So out of 289 edits:

24 User talk (11 own talk)
62 Own user page
17 Images uploaded
78 American History terms (list of links to other pages)
9 History terms (list of links to other pages)
19 Sysop contest contributions
14 Fantasy related articles (elves, dwarves, orcs, Eragon etc.)
38 Short articles
0 Vandalism reverts

And of those short articles:

Head : plagiarized from www.DidYouKnow.com (no citation)
Lemuel Haynes: plagiarized from www.whitehouse.gov (no citation)
Robert H Goddard: plagiarized from www.siarchives.si.edu (no citation)

Note that big sister SharonS often has to help out by improving the articles afterwards.

Next Sysop?

DeborahB is the hot tip for sysopship especially since TK deleted the following exhange:

Articles...
Deborah, please understand that when looking for potential new sysops, we take into account the content, not just the article count. Could you please refrain from just posting stubs, and actually offer a complete article? Thanks! --Sysop-TK /MyTalk 17:59, 4 June 2007 (EDT)
Thanks
Thanks for your concise entries, Deborah! I've learned from them already. We don't want long-winded, confusing entries here as there are on Wikipedia. Please continue your efforts.--Aschlafly 18:24, 4 June 2007 (EDT)
Thanks for the snipe and undercut, Andy. You are totally out of line and mean spirited here. Perhaps you need to consider removing me. The articles are blatant stubs, and should more logically be incorporated under CP:Congress. --Sysop-TK /MyTalk 18:38, 4 June 2007 (EDT)

Discretion is the better part of valor, TK?

 • Well, cheap shots, Mr. Dent, seems to be your better half, that is most certain. --TK/MyTalk 23:59, 14 June 2007 (CDT)
He meant "CP:TK", the one in the quoted conversation, not you, "RW:TK". humanbe in 23:54, 14 June 2007 (CDT)

You cannot see, right above here, where it says: "Discretion is the better part of valor, TK?" You don't see that? --TK/MyTalk 23:59, 14 June 2007 (CDT)

Yes, I can see it. Should it be edited to say "CP:user:TK" or "sysop-TK"? This is, after all, an article. And we are discussing it here instead of its talk page. Meta-content, I guess. humanbe in 00:03, 15 June 2007 (CDT)

You can remove all of these comments, Human, that's your style and that of the Bureaucrats here, when they dont like shit. However, here is a quote from me, standing up for something you guys have complained about, and I get a derisive comment? And since it was a question, I guess I, or anyone had the right to answer, eh? Talk about cheap shots, and those who refuse reality in admitting them...... --TK/MyTalk 00:25, 15 June 2007 (CDT)
