Flood geology is a "branch" of "creation science". It assumes that the biblical Great Flood was an actual historical event and attempts to interpret geology in terms which make it consistent with the flood myth.
In order to do this, flood geology is obliged to ignore the majority of geological evidence and misinterpret the rest.
