You should totally visit it! I hear the building has marble columns and statues of RW's founders, and they have a hard drive containing the remains of RationalWiki 1.0 on display in a glass case! Foreign Donations

What's the etiquette vis-a-vis foreign donations? For example, I'm a resident of the UK and would like to make a token contribution in pounds sterling (that's right, rule Britannia! No surrender...to the Euro!)^{— Unsigned, by: Levi Ackerman / talk / contribs}

Your donation is appreciated! I'm no expert, but considering it's PayPal, you ought to be able to donate quite easily. It will handle the currency conversion for you, I believe. And if not, just run the sum you want to donate through Google, e.g. 10 pounds to dollars. Hope this helps! All the best, Reverend Black Percy (talk) 10:59, 27 July 2016 (UTC)

Our proper money is just as good for RMF's purposes as their strange barbarian tokens. The only difference for the donor is you can only deduct your donation against US taxes if you pay US taxes - David Gerard (talk) 11:21, 27 July 2016 (UTC)

Currently the donations we get are sparse, but greatly appreciated, and help pay some of the hosting costs. We have not done a donation drive in a long time and have not been self-supporting for over a year, no one is getting rich I can promise that. We are working on trying to get some things ironed out with both the technical aspects of the site as well as the financial backend. tmtoulouse 17:15, 29 May 2022 (UTC)

I have no idea how to do that. RationalWiki has a proper business/nonprofit-class PayPal account now. Here's an updated donate link for it.
