This is an obvious departure from our usual recipes, but I assure you it is delicious.

Ingredients[edit]

  • 2 lbs large frog legs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup Cajun seasoning mix
  • 2 cups safflower oil
  • Cocktail sauce

Directions[edit]

Cocktail sauce[edit]

Mix 1 cup ketchup, 2 Tbsp horseradish, and 1/4 cup tabasco sauce together. Chill.

Legs[edit]

  • Mix seasoning and flour
  • Dredge legs in mixture
  • Fry in hot oil until uniformly golden brown

Serve with cocktail sauce.
