Tuna and Tomato Pasta

Quick, easy and surprisingly tasty.

Ingredients[edit]

Serves 3-5
  • 200g pasta
  • 2×200g cans chopped tomato
  • 180g tuna (1 normal can)
  • 1 clove, garlic
  • 1/4 - 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh basil

Instructions[edit]

  1. Heat the oil in a pan and cook the garlic for a minute or so
  2. Add the cayenne and cook for another minute
  3. Chuck in the tomato and cook for about 10 mins
  4. While that's going on, cook the pasta according to the instructions on the packet
  5. Stir the tuna into the sauce and cook until it all melds together - about 5 mins more
  6. Either put that pasta into a bowl and pour the sauce over it so it's pretty
  7. Or stir the pasta into the sauce and make a splodge of it
  8. Tear the basil and garnish the dish
