Sexism
From RationalWiki
Sexism is discrimination against people of a particular gender, most commonly against women. Sexism was very common across the world[1] for most of recorded history. The very concept of equality between the sexes is rather recent, and still fought by some conservatives, even those who have benefited from increased equality.[2]
An unfortunate (if you're sexist) aspect of sexism is that there aren't more sexes. So those who are sexist, unlike racists, have a somewhat black-and-white choice to make. Racists have much more varieties of people to hate, which confuses them as they have so much more to think about all the possibilities.
Conservapedia has an article about sexism and sexual discrimination, which lists only examples of perceived discrimination against men (and highly tenuous if not laughable ones at that) while ignoring the much larger subject of historical and contemporary sexism against women. Unsurprisingly, the Conservapedia article is plagiarised, originating from a loathsome misogynistic site called SupaWiki.
