Ideology[edit]

https://whyevolutionistrue.wordpress.com/2017/03/09/when-ideology-trumps-biology/ Myers prioritizes ideology over science, and evidently edits relevant criticisms in his comments section. Seems relevant. — Unsigned, by: 50.173.132.97 / talk / contribs

Pretty funny that you would cite Jerry Coyne[edit]

Considering RationalWiki makes a good case that Coyne is a political reactionary with his own right-leaning agenda. — Unsigned, by: 2603:7000:2703:74:a532:b6de:e7e2:f94e / talk / contribs

Expunge the dissent, my pretties[edit]

Wow. What a terrible article. PZ is, let's say, a "divisive" character with a declining influence. Atheist Ireland, Brian Dalton, Sam Harris have all said he is better ignored, yet none of that appears in the article.— Unsigned, by: 101.164.13.210 / talk / contribs

Sam Harris has his own character-staining and credibility-breaking problems, as his own entry here can attest. --Luigifan18 (talk) 04:24, 7 December 2022 (UTC)

Ideological Privilege Blindness of P.Z. Myers[edit]

"The Absolute Law: I AM THE BOSS, and don’t you forget it. I have sole and absolute power here; I can ban you, I can destroy your comments, I can shut down whole threads. I am a being of caprice; I don’t have to justify anything I do. So when I tell you to stop doing something, stop. Don’t argue with me. You don’t like that I banned your friend? Tough. Don’t complain to me. I will do as I will to make this place the kind of party I want to attend, and that’s all that matters. This law supercedes all other rules." ---P. Z. Myers.............An heroic position for one in no danger whatsoever.Ariel31459 (talk) 15:13, 28 June 2017 (UTC)

P.Z. Myers did not misrepresent Steve Pinker[edit]

On a significantly less savory note, Myers has been accused of misrepresenting the arguments and claims of those he disagrees with. For example, he has apparently attacked a straw man of some of Steven Pinker's commentary.[67]

But congratulations for quoting infamous transphobic grifter Jesse Singal to support your point.
