Question

The article says "that the blood is slightly alkaline, and that people should eat alkaline foods, in order to change the body's pH." I find this confusing, how is the diet supposed to be changing pH if it is already alkaline? Is the aim to increase the alkalinity even more? Генгис^pillaging 18:39, 3 June 2013 (UTC)
