Template:Cover

This template is used with no parameters ({{cover}}) to nominate articles for random inclusion on the RationalWiki Main Page.

If they are approved, we then add the parameter "approved" to it (thus: {{cover|approved}}), and it then becomes an announcement/warning to try to make good edits.

When altering to the "approved" setting, make sure to enclose it in "noinclude" tags, along with any other templates near the top to avoid cluttering the main page.

Both usages add the article to categories:

{{cover}} adds it to category:Cover story nominees

{{cover|approved}} adds it to category:Cover story articles
