YHWH

יהוה (pronunciation: intended to be unknown), or Allah, is the God of the Abrahamic religions. Most people are agreed on the pronunciation "Yahweh", while a minority hold to "Jehovah". It's a long story, having a great deal to do with taboo deformation^[1].

YHWH is perceived as male, harsh, and punishing, and rules usually from Heaven (but occasionally coming down for a pint with His creations). Such is the product of fevered desert nomads' imaginations.
