Old Testament
From RationalWiki
The Old Testament, also known as the Hebrew Bible or the Tanakh, is the variously defined canon of pre-Christian religious texts, now incorporated into the Christian bible. The traditional canon used in Jewish and Protestant liturgy is written entirely in Hebrew; however, Catholic and Eastern Orthodox Bibles include additional books, many of which were written in Greek or Aramaic.
"Old" Testament is usually contrasted to "New" Testament, the various canonical books included in the post-Christ Christian liturgy.
